My Vehicles

Here are some of my current vehicles, the work they have had done and things which are in the pipeline!

My Jurgens Autovilla

  • Year of Manufacture: 1973
  • Engine: 2lt Type4
  • Purchased: March 2012
  • Work Carried Out: Full Mechanical Overhall and Lowering. Interior restoration in progress

“Brian” is a bay with an unusual Jurgens Autovilla conversion which was imported last year from South Africa. We love having more room inside when we go camping as we found we were a bit squashed in our Splitty. We have so far given him a full mechanical overhaul and lowered him. We have decided to keep and restore the original interior. Watch this space for his progress!

My Square Back

  • Year of Manufacture: 1971
  • Engine: 1641cc
  • Purchased: March 2009
  • Work Carried Out: Body work and repray (Yet to be completed!)

This is my wife's daily.
Originally from the Isle of White, it was found in a lockup in London by T3D who renovated it back to working order. Slammed on replica Porsche gas burners.
This a variant 1600E but the original 1600 injection engine has been swapped for a street power 1641cc webber 34twin carb set up.
Although this is a very cool rat look car it is at the point now where it needs some TLC and so will be coming in for resto very soon.

My Beetle Peppermint Dream (B289 Car)

  • Year of Manufacture: 1966
  • Engine: Soon to be 1776cc
  • Purchased: May 2008
  • Work Carried Out: Full Restoration and Many 80s Period Modification (Yet to be completed!)

Volksworld feature car Feb 1991.
After sitting in a field for 12 years, a guy named Carl found her and got her back on the road. After acquiring Peppermint I decided the only thing to do was to restore her back to her former glory so she can sit pride of place at the B289 displays at Bug Jam.
